As a Global Purchaser you will responsible for purchasing raw materials and ingredients for the production of premixes for the right price, with the right quality at the right time. Therefore you will collect, assess and discuss business requirements concerning materials to be purchased and investigate, assess and select existing and new global suppliers including negotiation and contracting of the relevant materials at the best conditions and in line with strategies and vision. You have a project-oriented way of working and are able to make the analysis of raw material markets and identification of market drivers for the relevant raw materials using market reports to follow market drivers. You will stay up to date with market drivers and development of short term tactics and a long term vision for the relevant markets.
You have 5-7 years of experience in a commercial purchasing, sales or trading role preferably in the feed or food additives industry. You have a Bachelor or Master degree and are fluent in English, other languages are considered an advantage. You are familiar with MS office, MS Excel and you have a decent understanding of ERP systems. You also have a winner’s mentality, team spirit and strong analytical skills.
