Lucas studied developmental psychology at Tilburg University and graduated on the subject culture free intelligence. He started his career as consultant assessment and development within the pharmaceutical industry. After a management position within the technical sector, where he was responsible for implementing competence management, he returned to a consultative and operational HR position. In addition he specialized in recruitment, coaching and outplacement. Since 2005 he works as independent consultant and accomplished interim assignments within the financial and public sector.
Due to the type of work experience multiple courses and training taken, (co) developed and/or implemented, including Didactics, Assessment, Competence Management, Behaviour Based Interviewing & Performance Reviewing and Psychodiagnostics. He is certified for, and has experience with multiple assessment methodologies. Lucas is an experienced HR professional with focus on recruitment, assessment, (management) development and outplacement. His effective cooperation with various organizations, managers and (future) employees proves his integrity, flexibility and trust. He has proven successful within complex organizations. His character can be described as critical but positive, result driven and a team player with sincere attention for the people he works with. In 2014 Lucas joined Hoek Consultants as a Partner, and since 2017 he is one of the board members. In 2016 he completed Transactional Analyses Coaching & Counseling at TA-Academy.
