Hoek Consultants is committed to respecting the privacy of candidates and clients at all times. We only collect data that has been voluntarily provided and with the individual’s consent. This information is treated with the utmost care and confidentiality. Hoek Consultants complies with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal Data

Hoek Consultants stores, collects, and processes personal data that is essential for the optimal delivery of our services as described on our website. Additionally, we process data for our role as an employer and for general administrative purposes.

The personal data provided will be used for:

  • Informing candidates about job vacancies that may match their profile;
  • Facilitating our role as an employer, including for our own administration and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements such as identification, tax, and social security laws;
  • Making candidates’ CVs available to clients (only with the candidate’s consent);
  • Generating personality or team analyses (e.g., DISC/TMA);
  • Transmitting information via post or email.

We only transfer personal data outside the EU when working with a client based outside the EU; data storage occurs within the EU.

Access, Inspection, and Modification of Personal Data

You have the right to access and modify your registered personal data at all times. To request your data, please contact Hoek Consultants’ Office Manager. You can also make adjustments via our website. Hoek Consultants retains data such as your CV and cover letter for a period of one year. In summary, you have the following rights:

  • Withdrawal of consent;
  • Objecting to certain uses or discontinuing the processing of personal data;
  • Filing an objection against processing by Hoek Consultants or requesting data deletion.

Filing a Complaint

Your privacy is of great importance to Hoek Consultants. Your data is secure with us and is only used for the purpose for which we have requested it. However, if you have a complaint, you can contact our Office Manager. We aim to resolve complaints within four weeks of receipt to your satisfaction. If a complaint is not resolved to your full satisfaction, you can contact the Data Protection Authority.

The data controller is Hoek Consultants BV, located at Marterlaan 19, 6705 CK, Wageningen-Hoog. In accordance with the Data Protection Act, the processing of personal data has been registered with the supervisory authority, the Data Protection College in The Hague, under notification number 1409546.
